Emotions are running high in the Ontario Legislature.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell and Natural Resources Minister Bill Mauro had a heated exchange Wednesday in the Legislature over the future of the Fort Frances mill.
Campbell accused Mauro about only caring about what happens to mills in his own riding.
She says the Minister seems content of the “status quo”.
Mauro accused Campbell of playing politics.
He notes Fort Frances has already benefited from past wood allotments.
Mauro also fired back stating the Fort Frances Mill has been closed for 2-years and this is the first time Campbell has ever raised the issue with him.
