Another honour for Dryden’s Chris Pronger.
The Peterborough Petes raised Pronger’s banner to the rafters this week in an Ontario Hockey League game.
The team also donned number 6 Pronger jerseys during the warm-up.
During his speech, Pronger told the young guys, “have fun and enjoy the game because it goes fast”.
The Petes picked the hulking defenceman in the 6th round as a 16-year-old.
He helped lead Peterborough as an assistant captain to an OHL championship in 1993.
