The Thunder Bay North Stars exploded for four goals in the third period, three on the power-play, as they came back to beat the visiting English River Miners 6-3 Wednesday night.
Eric Champagne, Matthew Ray and Richard Dartnall scored for the Miners.
English River out shot Thunder Bay 50-36.
The Miners will look to rebound Friday on home ice against Minnesota.
