Are you having problems paying your rent?
The Ontario Rent Bank program has released money to help low income
families and individuals across the Region.
District Social Housing Manager Cathe Hoszowski says the Province has
released $19,000 for local communities.
Hoszowski adds the program is for those who need a last resort and
have already been handed an eviction notice by their landlords.
She anticipates as many as 30 families could be helped by the new funding.
