A Ministry of Natural Resources Moose Decoy has worked again as a pair
of American men have been fined $3,500 for having a loaded firearm in their boat.
The MNR says the 2-Minnesota residents were on Upper Manitou Lake,
just South of Dryden.
Officers watched as one of the men loaded a firearm and aimed at the
decoy but they moved away after realizing it wasn’t a real Moose.
The hunters were stopped and admitted they had intended to shoot the
Moose if it had been real.
The pair have been banned from hunting in Ontario for 2-years.
