Local residents are being urged to keep their dogs on a leash after a
pair of dogs killed a fawn in Thunder Bay this week.
Ministry of Natural Resources Conservation Officers were forced to
kill the dogs after they chased down the deer.
The identity of the animal’s owner is not known.
The MNR says allowing dogs to run around and chase wildlife is
illegal and has been a problem throughout the Region this year.
