Help Keep Eagle Lake Peninsula Beautiful

The North Shore Lodge is hosting an event to help support the Eagle Lake Farabout Peninsula Coalition.
On Sunday, people can take part in a paddle tour of the east side of the peninsula from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m. and then there will be a fundraising fish fry and silent auction.
Chairperson Dale Mackenzie says there will also be a brief talk about the world class muskies that are found on the peninsula.
Mackenzie says the money raised will go to establishing an environmental care code for the piece of land in Eagle Lake.
The environmental care code will help care for the lake, help the shorebird population, as well as cleaning and promoting the area.
Tickets are available at the Bulk Zone for $30 cash and will only be sold until Thursday evening.
