Elementary Teachers Prepare For Bargaining Talks

Ontario’s elementary teachers are preparing for a new round of bargaining with the province and school boards.
President of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario Sam Hammond says it will begin September 3, the day school resumes in most areas.
Hammond says EFTO will meet that day with government and school boards to set the ground work for bargaining.
The teachers current contract expires at the end of this month.
