Volunteers are still needed to organize the Red Lake Terry Fox Run.
Ontario Community Events Coordinator Kim Smith says they have had some interest but no one has come forward to officially run the fundraiser.
Red Lake has hosted the annual event since 1984 and over that time more than $371,000 has been raised to support cancer research.
Smith says the Foundation will work closely with the volunteer chair and provide support, training and materials to ensure the success of the run.
The Terry Fox Run is scheduled for Sunday, September 16th.
