The Dryden Fire Service wants to make sure that you stay safe this winter.
The Fire Service is asking residents to inspect heating appliances and chimneys.
Information Officer Reagan Breeze adds you should keep all flamable materials at least 3 meters away.
Breeze notes it’s mandantory that all Ontario homes have a working smoke alarm on each story and outside each sleeping area.
He also suggests installing a carbon monoxide detector.
