Heroin, Weapon Seized At Dryden Traffic Stop

Provincial Police have charged two southern Ontario residents as the result of a traffic stop on Government Street in Dryden.

Dryden OPP made the stop on Sunday in relation to a Highway Traffic Act offence.

During the stop, police found and seized a quantity of drugs and a prohibited weapon.

Police say 26 year old Sarbjeet Singh of Brampton and 35 year old Jatinder Dhawliwal of Waterloo are charged with:

  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Heroin

Both of the accused were released on an Appearance Notice to attend the court in Dryden in early June to answer to the charges.
