The Union representing High School Occasional teachers has rejected
the latest contract offer from the Rainy River District School Board.
The deal provided the same salary increase that their Elementary
colleagues accepted this week.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says he’s confident an agreement
can be reached.
The Union has been in a legal strike position since last December
however there is no word if they plan to withdraw services from Atikokan,
Fort Frances and Rainy River High Schools.
