The Rainy River District School Board has ratified a new 4-year
contract with its Elementary Occasional instructors.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says the deal impacts 93-occasional
teachers from Atikokan to Rainy River.

The contract includes a wage increase to the daily rate, which will be
$197 at the end of the 4-year agreement.
