High School Teachers Reach Agreement With Province

It looks like it will be back to normal when high schools re-open this fall.

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation says a tentative deal has been reached for high school teachers at the central-bargaining level with the province and the Ontario Public School Board’s Assocation.

High School Teachers had been without a deal since August of last year.

No specific details were provided.

It still needs to be endorsed by the union’s local leaders before being presented to teachers for ratification.

Negotiations with the Provinces Catholic and Public Elementary Teachers continue.
