Dryden High School

It’s a late start day for DHS students tomorrow – Wednesday, January 7th. Regular classes will not start until 10:10 in the morning.
Dryden Eagle Boys hockey first home game of 2026 is this Wednesday! This is the first game against Kenora’s T.A. Saints. 7pm in Dryden. If you’re unable to be at the rink, sign in to www.drydeneagles.tv to watch the game from where ever you are. Also good luck to the Eagle boys this weekend as they head to Winnipeg for the Piper Classic Tournament of Champions. First game for the Eagles will be Friday morning at 10:15 versus the Sturgeon Heights Huskies.
And the Dryden Eagle Girls hockey team will face off against the T.A. Saints girls squad at home this Wednesday at 4:30.
Sioux North High School

Like Dryden High – Sioux North students will have a late start day tomorrow – Wednesday, January 7th.
The Sioux North Warrior hockey teams will entertain the Fort Frances Muskies in boys and girls action on Wednesday, January 7th at the Sioux Lookout Memorial Arena.
Warrior basketball and volleyball teams will be on the road this week (Thursday, January 8th) for court sports action against the Eagles in Dryden.
Friday, January 9th – the Warrior Junior and Senior Boys basketball teams will be in Thunder Bay for tournament action. Also on Friday, the Sioux North Boys hockey team will be in Winkler, Manitoba for a tournament. Good luck Warriors!!
Red Lake District High School

Lots going on this week at RLDHS!
Court sports action has the Rams hosting the Ignace Falcons today (January 6th), Ram boys basketball practice will start at 3:15 this afternoon while the Ram girls hockey team will have practice today at 4 o’clock.
It’s a late start day for classes tomorrow – Wednesday, January 7th. Buses will however be running on time.
Court sports action for the Rams on Wednesday will be at home against Rainy River. Girls volleyball practice on Wednesday will be at 3:15 and the Ram boys hockey team will hold a practice on Wednesday as well at 4 o’clock.
Pelican Falls First Nations High School

Welcome back all students to Pelican Falls First Nations High School as semester two classes begin today – Tuesday, January 6th!
A few dates to keep in mind as Winter court sports continue for the Timberwolves: Thursday, January 8th Pelican Falls entertains Whitefish Bay and then it’s on the road later in the month for Pelican Falls as the Timberwolves head to Atikokan on the 13th and Rainy River on the 14th.
Ignace School

It’s a late start day for classes tomorrow – Wednesday, January 7.
Hat Day is coming up this week – January 8th. Wear your favourite hat to school on Thursday!
Falcon Shirt Day is on Friday, January 9th.
Court Sports action for the Ignace Falcons has the teams headed to Kenora on Tuesday, January 13th. On Wednesday, January 14th the Falcons will host Northern Lakes School teams from Atikokan.
