Highway 17 Closed

An early morning collision between a tractor trailer and a pick up truck has forced the closure of highway 17 west at the 71 junction just east of Kenora. Both lanes have been closed and are expected to be closed for most of the day. Police advise travllers who need to get west to use highway 502 south to Fort Frances west to Highway 71 and north up 71 back to highway 17.
