Less than six hours after Highway 17 was opened a section has been closed again near Kenora.
The O.P.P. say the Trans-Canada Highway has been closed due to a multiple vehicle accident near the west entrance to the Kenora by-pass.
The accident took place shortly after 10:00 this morning,
but no other details have been released.
Westbound traffic is being directed into the City of Kenora, but eastbound traffic is being stopped at Falcon Lake in Manitoba.
Last night, Highway 17 was closed for over 12 hours due to poor weather conditions and slippery roads.
