Provincial Police have now shut down the Trans-Canada Highway all the way from the Ontario-Manitoba boundary to Shabaqua.
OPP are reporting multiple collisions and dangerous driving conditions.
There is no word on when Highway 17 will re-open.
No injuries are reported.
All roads are snow packed, icy and visibility is poor.
