Highway 17 Now Open

Traffic is moving once again on the Trans-Canada Highway between Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
Highway 17 was shutdown around 7 o’clock Wednesday morning due to a 2-vehicle collision at Little Joe Lake, about 40-kilometres west of Vermilion Bay.
OPP say the crash involved 2-transports.
Witnesses tell CKDR that one of the tractor-trailer units hit a rock-cut.
There is no word on injuries.
Dryden OPP say Highway 17 has reopened to both lanes of traffic.
Road conditions are slippery and motorists are asked to slow down.
