Highway 17 Now Open

All major Highway’s are now open across Northwestern Ontario, however OPP are advising motorists to not travel unless it’s absolutely necessary.
A collision involving a fuel truck and a transport around 6:30 closed Highway 17 in Wabigoon for a good chunk of the morning.
Witnesses say fuel was spilled on the road but no injuries were reported.
Several other collisions have been reported along the Trans-Canada Highway, none of which are considered serious.
Roads are icy and visibility is poor.
