3:50PM UPDATE: Both lanes of Highway 17 are now open between Vermilion Bay and Shabaqua.
A winter weather travel advisory remains in effect for the Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Ignace areas tonight.
Winds gusting up to 60 kilometres and hour combined with falling snow will result in local blowing snow and reduced visibility.
Travel will become difficult due to winter weather travel conditions.
Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.
