Ontario Provincial Police confirm that Highway 71 between Kenora and Fort Frances is now open.
Police report that Highway 17 between Vermilion Bay and the Manitoba border is still closed.
Travel to Red Lake is also interrupted with the closing of Highway 105.
On another note, Highway 516 north of Sioux Lookout is reduced to one lane due to a disabled tractor trailer.
