Highway Upgrades in Northwestern Ontario

The Provincial Government has announced funding to upgrade area Highway’s.
The Liberals are spending $2.6-million to fix up the Nestor Falls Bridge and Log River Bridge on Highway 71.
Pioneer Construction has won a $4.8-million contract to upgrade 16-kilometers of Highway 11 east of Fort Frances.
The Government has also awarded Miller Northwest a $12-million contract to rehabilitate a 16-kilometre stretch of Highway 17, east of Upsala.
