Vermilion Bay residents are going to have to wait another couple of weeks to find out if their property taxes are going up this year.
Machin Council had hoped to pass the budget last week, but they are still waiting for a few more numbers.
Mayor Garry Parkes says they do know that they are facing increases in a couple of areas.
He says their policing costs will be going up $35,000 and they will also have to pay out $22,000 to consultants to deal with the closure of the municipal landfill site.
The budget is expected to be passed on June 22nd.
Still Time to Decide Machin Budget
