We are less than three months away from Scotiabank Hockey Day In Canada.
The event is February 15th, with a 13-hour broadcast live from Kenora.
The day will put hockey in northwestern Ontario in the spotlight and will feature five games, involving all seven Canadian NHL teams.
Dan Reynard who is co-chair of the organizing committee says in the first week of December the programs, schedules and ticket availability will all be released.
Reynard notes right now they are looking for players for the alumni game.
He’s asking former Thistles players to contact the Committee for more information.
One thing that is known is that the English River Miners will be playing the Fort Frances Lakers in a special SIJHL game.
