A number of events highlight the local sports scene this Canada Day.
The annual Triathlon will start Friday morning at 10 at Cooper Park.
Participants will swim, bike and run in the adult and kids divisions.
The Northern Lights Quarter Horse Show is on the go starting at 9 at
the Fairgrounds.
On Saturday.
The first Dryden Kinsmen Dragon Boat Races highlight morning activities
with the first set of boats leaving Skene Landing at 9:15.
The final race is scheduled for 11:15.
Also on the water, the Windsurf Regatta at 10 at the Dryden Yacht Club.
On land, the Disc Golf tournament will be held at the Sandy Beach
Pavilion at 9:30, while the Northern Lights Quarter Horse Show starts at
9:00 at the Fairgrounds.
Inside, the Royal Canadian Legion is hosting a euchre tournament at 10.
