It appears it will be the status-quo this year for door-to-door mail delivery in northwestern Ontario.
Canada Post plans to have community mailboxes in all areas over the next 5-years.
The agency has unveiled the first phase of its plan, with the expansion of community mailboxes this fall to 11-communities.
Winnipeg is on the list but no local communities are mentioned.
West Kildonan, Maples, Garden City and Seven Oaks will be among the first neighbourhoods across the country to lose Canada Post home delivery.
