The Dryden Recreation Extension and Modification Committee is overwhelmed with the support from the community in response to the recent ‘Hometown Proud’ Day.
Janice Radburn and Marnie Oliphant were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday to announce the final totals from the fundraising dinner and auction.
A total of $40,000 was raised.
DREAM is now over the $100,000 mark in efforts to upgrade the Memorial Arena.
Radburn and Oliphant stress the support from the community truly shows how important the facility is to everyone.
Oliphant says a number of businesses, individuals and community organizations helped make the event a huge success.
