Hoppe Receives a Promotion

The Provinces Attorney General is increasing the workload of a
non-presiding Judge in Dryden.
Daisy Hoppe has received a promotion and is now a full-time presiding
Justice of the Peace.
Hoppe was in charge of handling search warrants, issuing subpoenas
and presiding over bail hearings.
She will now be able to also preside over matters under the
Provincial Offences Act, including Highway Traffic Act offences.
