Hospital Cuts in Kenora

As many as 32 nurses are facing layoffs in Kenora where Hospital
administrators are closing nearly a quarter of the beds at the Lake of the
Woods District Hospital.
Nurses will be holding a rally to protest the cuts that they say will
erode the quality of health care in the region.
The Hospital says the cuts are the best way to get control of a $1.8
million deficit.
