Hospital Funding

The Province has handed the Dryden Regional Health Centre a cheque for over $744,000.
CEO Andrew Skeene says the funding was handed out to hospitals that are fiscally responsible and demonstrate innovation.
Skeene says they are looking at spending $315,000 on programs deferred over the years.
As well, they hope to begin renovating the second floor and basement next month.
When all is said and done, the Hospital is looking at a $1.2 million surplus next fiscal year.
