The Dryden Regional Health Centre has pled their case now its time for the waiting game.
Next month. the Province is expected to allocate $50 million to Ontario Hospitals that had a surplus this fiscal year.
Chief Financial Officer Wade Petranik says they have told the Province why they need additional funding.
Petranik says the shortage of family physicians and limited access to primary care is also posing problems for the facility.
He notes the hospital is also looking at an $81,000 deficit next year.
