The Dryden Regional Health Centre is warning of a temporary closure of the Hospital’s Emergency Department.
Officials say as a result of significant physician shortages, the Hospital may be left with no choice but to temporarily close the ER on an intermittent basis.
The Hospital can longer guarantee 24-hour, 7-days a week coverage effective Saturday.
Should emergency services be suspended, residents will be transported by ambulance to the nearest Emergency Department.
