Hospital Workers Approve New Contract

Labour peace is expected for the next three years at nine hospitals in the north including the Atikokan General Hospital.
Members of the Canadian Autoworkers Union have agreed to a new contract, which includes a 2.5 percent wage increase in the first year.
The new deal affects about 16-hundred registered nurses working in the north.
