Hospitals Exempt from Law

Hospitals have been exempted from Ontario’s freedom of
information law.
And that has sparked accusations the Liberals are getting more
secretive, despite their claims of making government more open and transparent.
Liberals on the finance committee used their majority today (Thursday) to exempt hospitals from the freedom of information law.
The exemption was buried deep in the 2011 provincial budget.
