A total of 9-forest fires are now burning in the Northwest region.
Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Fort Frances each have one in their districts.
The fire in Dryden is classed as not under control.
The small blaze is south of Eagle Lake and northeast of Tadpole Lake.
Three fires are buring in the Kenora District, two of them are deemed not under control.
Three fires are also burning in the Red Lake district with two of them classed not under control.
All of the fires are small and pose no threat to communities or property.
The fire hazard remains moderate to high, but is expected to climb with this extreme heat.
