It’s a different story when it comes to Dryden realty, opposed to the rest of Canada.
The Canadian Real Estate Association says the average price of a Canadian home has increased to more than $400,000.
That price is a lot different in Dryden.
Owner of Sunset Country Realty, Barry Lynch says the average price of a home in Dryden is $130,000.
Lynch says this is due to what is called a buyer’s market.
“When you have a fairly healthy supply of homes with limited amount of buyers, the values dont change,” he says.
Lynch says unlike the rest of the country and all the surrounding communities around us, which are sellers markets, then you have pressure on values.
The value of homes in Dryden haven’t changed dramatically in 10 years.
