The provincial government has come through with 90% funding to fix Duke Street from Casimir to Colonization.
Dryden Mayor Craig Nuttall confirmed the funding Monday night.
Nuttall says the project will be a complete rebuild.
He says work will start this spring and will include the installation of new pipes as well as paving and the replacement of sidewalks.
The government is providing $1.3-million.
Nuttall has been in conversation with Kenora MP Greg Rickford about the remaining 10%.
