Housing Prices Spike In Our Area

Housing prices in our area are on the rise.
The Municipal Property Assessment says prices in the Kenora and Rainy River Districts have increased about 26% over the past four years.
Ontario home prices have gone up 17% during the same period.
Owner of Sunset Country Realty Barry Lynch says the housing market has changed from being a buyers market to a sellers market.
Lynch is confident that the area will not see a dramatic impact as a result of the hike.
He says the future looks bright and notes there’s lot’s of activity happening locally.
