Howard Hampton Vying For NDP Nomination In Kenora Riding?

Another big name politician might be in the running for the Kenora riding in the federal election.
According to the CBC, Howard Hampton is being encouraged by the federal NDP to seek the parties nomination in the riding.
Hampton was an MPP for 21 years, serving as Attorney General, Minister of Natural Resources and party leader.
Currently Hampton is an NDP Consultant for the Ring of Fire.
He has not yet announced any plans to return to politics.
The Kenora riding already proves to be a tight race as Natural Resources Minister Greg Rickford is seeking re-election with the Conservatives, and former cabinet Minister Bob Nault is seeking the Liberal nomination.
