A deal has been reached at the Buchanan sawmill in Hudson.
260 employees will be brought back to work for the summer
months.
Steelworkers Union Local 26-93 President Joe Hanlon
describes the deal as a bare bones survival plan.

Workers voted in favour of the plan last week. Hanlon
notes employees wages will be cut back 2 dollars an hour, in
exchange for the 525 hours work.
The plan states employees won’t seek severance pay until
June 2009.
