Hudson Mill Back In Operation

The Hudson Mill is back in operation.
Sioux Lookout Mayor Dennis Leney says the McKenzie Forest Products mill is up and running and trucks are hauling green logs into the mill.
The mill is operating with a skeleton crew, but Leney notes the mill is expected to employee 100-plus people in May or late June.
The mill has been closed since 2008, with a very brief stint on-line in 2010.
Leney says it’s great news for the community and stresses the future looks bright.
