Huge Spin-Off’s In Hosting Dudley Hewitt Cup

Hotels are slowly starting to fill up and it’s getting a little more busy around town as the Dudley Hewitt Cup is just one day away.

Dryden is hosting the Central Canadian Junior Hockey Championship for the first time.

Ice Dogs Treasurer Tom Clarke says it’s going to provide a major economic boost for the community.

Clark says they are anticipating an influx of 500-visitors during the week long championship.

Clarke says an economic analysis predicts a nearly half-million dollars in extra revenue for the City.

He adds the event is also aimed at showcasing our City and what it has to offer.
