Huge Turnout For Scott McEwan

A weekend fundraiser for Vermilion Bay’s Scott McEwan has been deemed a huge success.
Organizer Forrest Mann says they had roughly 300 to 400 people attend the Saturday event.
Mann says roughly $27,000 was raised but stresses money is still coming in.
The Kinsmen Club in Winnipeg donated $5,000.
McEwan is a well known community advocate and volunteer and he lost his handicapped accessible van in a fire earlier this year.
Mann says they are trying to raise enough funds to purchase a new van.
