The 2015 Federal election certainly generated plenty of interest in the Kenora riding.
Voter turnout was impressive with more than 72% of eligible voters casting a ballot.
Compare that to 2011, when only 58% of us came out to vote.
Part of the increase had to do with the large number of people who voted in the advance polls.
Nationally, 68.5% of eligible voters cast ballots.
