Huge Win For Dryden GM Ice Dogs

The monkey is finally off the back of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.

Troy Williams scored a pair of goals to lead Dryden past the SIJHL leading Fort Frances Lakers 4-2 Wednesday night at the Memorial Arena.

The win was the first for Dryden against Fort Frances this season.

Nic Nosworthy and Ben Smaha also found the back of the net.

Troy Pierce made 23-saves in his Ice Dogs debut.

Dryden GM is now three points back of the Lakers for first.

The rematch is Saturday at the Ice for Kids Arena and CKDR will have the call.
