Huge Win For Ice Dogs; Miners Fall To Stars

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs rebounded from a lackluster first and second period and came alive in the third to defeat the SIJHL leading Fort Frances Lakers 4-1 Saturday night.

Eric Masters and Nick Eytcheson scored in an energetic third period, while Matt Houston iced the game with an empty netter.

The Dogs were also a perfect 7-7 on the penalty kill and didn’t receive a single power-play.

Dryden GM has now won four in a row and has moved into a tie for third.

They are also four points back of second with three games in hand.
