Young hockey stars from northern First Nations converge on Dryden Sunday for the start of the Little Bands Hockey Tournament.
A total of 51 teams will compete in the Atom, Novice, Peewee, Bantam, Midget and Girls Divisions.
The Tournament runs all week at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
This is one of two major First Nations hockey tournaments planned for the community.
Those coupled with the upcoming Provincial Volleyball Girls High School Championship is expected to be a huge economic boom for the City.
