Two Atikokan area Tourist Businesses and their Owners have been fined $30,000 for conspiring to run an illegal moose hunt.
The MNR says 30-year-old Barry Giles and 64-year-old Robert Giles and 68-year-old Harry Schick have been found guilty of unlawfully buying and selling a moose validation tag, unlawfully issuing a moose tag and unlawfully hunting moose.
The MNR says the Giles’s have been fined $17,000, while Schick has been fined $14,000.
