Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell says a provincial decision to have a Tennesse company handle hunting licences in Ontario is absurd.
Campbell says the move is taking jobs away from Ontarians and is creating privacy issues for local residents.
Campbell notes hunters are still concerned how their information will be used.
Natural Resources Minister Michael Gravelle has assured the Legislature that any personal information given over the phone or on-line will be protected, and the system is working well.
